Your spotlight on local services

Partner Programme

The Healthwatch North East Lincolnshire (HWNEL) Executive Board has agreed to establishing a Partner Programme with local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations.  This programme is based on a successful scheme already operating with Healthwatch York and recognises the valuable contribution that VCS make in putting local people at the heart of local health and social care services.   The Partner Programme is a way of securing information sharing and working together that will serve the interests of both the VCS and HWNEL.  This will include opportunities to access and listen to the views of local people and to use this to influence the shape and delivery of local services.

Healthwatch North East Lincolnshire has been established to make sure that the voice of local people is heard in the planning and delivery of local services particularly from those whose voice is `seldom heard’.  We are therefore particularly keen to partner those organisations that offer support to people from minority or vulnerable groups whose needs are not always fully recognised.   This, however, should not stop other interested organisations from applying.  Successful applicants will receive £100 per annum from HWNEL for the duration of the scheme.
